Where do you live and train? Live in Michigan, train wherever I can.

Ideal training spot, conditions, companions? I love the trails, any conditions. Nothing beats a weekend run or bike with my BT MI crew.

Years running, cycling, or competing? I've been running for more than 20 years, competing the last 4.

What type of races do you prefer (i.e trail ultras)? Trail Ultras and Duathlons.

How did you hear or find out about Injinji tetratsoks? I heard about Injinji socks from a Trail Running magazine, I then met the then President at MCM in 06. I was so impressed by not only the product but by the company's enthusiasm.

How long have you been wearing the tetratsoks? since 06

Your personal tetratsok of choice? Nuwool Quarters

How have the tetratsoks changed your experience training and competing? The socks not only are comfortable but they are functional as well. They keep my feet blister free but also allow them to act freely with in the shoes.

What would you most like to accomplish athletically presently and/or long-term? A successful finish at Western States this year. A win at the Long Course Duathlon National Championship and a placement at the ITU Long Course Duathlon World Championships.

Favorite foods for training and competing? Peanut butter and Raspberry sandwiches, cheez-its and Cherry Pepsi.

Favorite post race meal? Filet and coconut shrimp.

If you are not running, cycling or competing – how do you like to spend your time?
Hiking and camping with my husband and playing with my three dogs.

Possession (if any) that you cannot live without?
my cell phone..

Advice you would give to someone just starting out running or cycling, or in a new sport in general?
Listen to your body, run your own pace and keep it fun.

Best advice you have ever received from a fellow athlete, or non-athlete?
You prepare to win races in the off season. Personal hero or role model?

What inspires you? My role models are my friends and training partners. A single mother of four running ultras and doing Ironmans, a 30 something girl after heart surgery completes an Ironman, an airforce pilot was told she couldn't run again had surgery and has finished a marathon and an Ironman, a dear friend fighting cancer for the past 4 years trying her best to continue to compete in duathlons and road races. These are my heros. I don't have to look outside my friends to find inspiration.
